SV 09 Arnstadt - größter Verein der KreisstadtAm 19.05.2009 schlossen sich der SV Arnstadt Rudisleben und der BC 07 Arnstadt zum SV 09 Arnstadt e.V.
zusammen.
Der neue Verein übernahm dabei viel Tradition, denn BC 07 wurde bereits 1907 gegründet, die BSG Motor Rudisleben spielte etliche Jahre in der DDR-Liga.Der Verein hat ca.
950 Mitglieder (davon ca.
400 Kinder- und Jugendliche) und bietet neben Fußball (ca.
